“Great service! Fast, friendly and efficient! From the receptionist to the technician, timing was on, correction of problem was fast and efficient and billing was extremely fair. He even cleaned up after fixing my fridge! I would highly recommend!!!”
“Contacted this company based on recommendation from a neighbor. I was fortunate to have Matt as the technician for a GE refrigerator repair. The main control panel needed to be replaced. It was done quickly, neatly and fixed the problem. At my request, he came back and replaced the ice maker assembly at a later date. This was a newly developed problem unrelated to the first. I would highly recommend Certified. I believe the charge was very reasonable both times.”

“Jeff came to my house this afternoon to repair my washing machine and my dishwasher. He will return with the appropriate part for my washing machine and the repair will be made on my next available day. The dishwasher however was installed by a local plumbing company. Jeff was so very honest and he told me that the previous work that had been done would cost me in the area of $500 to repair it. Apparently the plumber tried to rig the hoses together and as a result completely disfigured the water pipe by tightening a clamp onto it, which should not have been done. He was kind enough to suggest that I called the plumbing company and have them come back to repair/replace their work. I made the call while Jeff was here so he could explain the issue so as to give the plumber more information. That person will return to my home to take care of the issue, hopefully, but he was most unpleasant on the phone and he would not let Jeff say a word. It was an awful experience and I felt so terrible for Jeff as he was only trying to help me. It left me feeling very shaky inside. I do not like confrontation and I could tell this guy was clearly an Alpha Male. All that aside, Jeff was lovely, honest, kind, truthful, helpful, warm and friendly. I would like to give Jeff a 5 star review for being the kind of human being I could tell he is. I was referred to this company by a woman in the nail salon who said they were great. I am so pleased that I received the information from her. I actually called Chelsea during that same appointment. I very much like that this business is run and owned by a woman, who is also so nice, caring and kind. I knew I liked her as soon as we spoke. I know that I will refer them to anyone I know that needs their services.”
“After a valiant but unsuccessful attempt at fixing my washer, I messaged Chelsea. From first contact, she was responsive and helpful and got me worked in within a couple of days. Matt and Jeff, the techs, were on time, polite, and informative. They had the part the next day, and I'm up and running again! They are a permanent contact in my phone now, and I know who I'll call for my next appliance meltdown.”
“They were actually 10 minutes early - NEVER had that happen. Further, they diagnosed the problem in about two minutes, retrieved the part, and had it fixed in less than an hour. Wonderful. Knew what they were doing. Pleasant. Hurray!! I will use them again and again for appliance repair.”

“Our refrigerator quit cooling and freezing. We called Certified Appliance repair and they sent out a technician early the next day. Dustin was our service tech. He knew right away what the issue was, quoted us a price with parts and labor and repaired the refrigerator quickly! Dustin was courteous, honest and very knowledgeable about the repair. “I LOVE this company and will put them on speed dial from now on. They answer the phone on weekends and all hours... sent help asap... and best yet.. fixed the problem without even needing to order parts! This weekend the computerized control panel on my range went out with a power flickering, leaving me without a working oven, clock or any of the other computer related functions. Since the stove burners still worked, I thought it was worth a shot for repair, rather than buying a new stove. Certified Appliance Repair was the ONLY repair shop that would actually answer the phone on the weekend past most normal working hours. They scheduled promptly, and even fit me in sooner than expected, arriving Monday morning. Dustin is a champion technician! He determined the malfunctioning part, called for it's price.. yet before leaving had my range back in full working condition without need of replacement of parts! It was like watching a miracle worker. He basically reset the computerized part of my range.. and all is back to working 100%. I am so impressed with every aspect of company and it's people. They will be my go to team from now on. Honest, reliable, efficient, caring and fair... just darn good people who do excellent work!”

“Our almost 3 year old dryer just stopped spinning, of course it was out of warranty. Started looking on line for recommendations for appliance repairs and saw Certified mentioned many times. After going on their website and reading so many positive reviews with Dustin's name mentioned over and over we decided to give them a call. It was on a weekend when we called and he came out Monday morning. Wonderful person to deal with, even told us might be better off buying a new dryer since the repair and labor would be somewhat costly and we just might rather buy a new one. We appreciated his honesty but decided to have him do the repair. So nice to work with a family owned business. They really care about their customers.”

“We could not have been more pleased. We called on a Monday morning, and technician Dustin arrived early afternoon as scheduled. Dustin is exceptionally knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem(s). He took the time to explain what went wrong and what would be required to fix it. Parts needed to be ordered, and Dustin did some research to provide a good estimate of the arrival of parts, In the meantime, Dustin took stopgap measures because he did not want to leave us without a refrigerator that was working somewhat well until parts arrive. As soon as Dustin learned that parts were in route, he called to schedule a time for installation. Out refrigerator is now working good as new, and we could not be happier with Dustin and Certified Appliance Repair in Englewood.”

“Great technician very personable and professional. But he charged me over $400 to fix the washer and I had to help him take the dryer off of the top of the washer because his helper did not show up. I also had to help put the dryer back on top of the washer after he replaced the water valves. He also could not replace a water hammer valve on the cold side of the washer (I found the part at Lowes for $12)and put it on myself. I would have liked a little consideration on the bill in that he saved money that he would have spent on his helper but got me for free. Great guy bad business.”
“Hired them to fix my freezer and my dryer, matt worked hard the first time to fix my freezer, however, I really don't think he knew what he was doing and it took him several hours to replace the same simple part. My dryer and my freezer quit working within a few weeks of his repair. When I called them to come fix this under warranty, they came quickly and fixed the issues, supposedly, but then charged me a trip charge and a completely whole new repair of $375 saying that they changed different parts ---which didn't make any sense because it was the exact same problem with the freezer and the dryer.... One month later both of them stopped working AGAIN, when I called about coming to fix them under warranty, They told me that I would have to pay another trip charge!!!!! Both appliances to this day do not work properly. I spent just as much" repairing them" as I would have purchasing new ones.”

The company will not answer or return my multiple phone calls despite having a 1 year warranty on the repair. AVOID THIS COMPANY! The best appliance repair in Sarasota is Badger Bob's. The only reason I used this company was because they had an immediate opening for a repair.”

“Washer failed day after repair. Several calls to Certified Appliance, Matt came back out. He then said the control board needed replaced, and that he would call to let us know when the part would be in.. after several day with no call, we called several times, leaving messages. Then the receptionist answered the phone and said that she would get in touch with Matt and call us back inn Five min. No call back after several days. “Had an appointment 2-5 window my wife got stuck at work at the last second she got a call from the service tech, she apologized about not being there and asked if he could come back he replied no way!!! Then we got a call from some woman Chelsea from there office this woman was so rude to my wife then hung up on her then called back saying where gonna charge you 50$ more for a return fee and said where not just sitting around not doing anything! Then hung again without taking the appointment!!! So unprofessional!! Never will used this service!!! This will be put on social media as well!! How could they have a woman like this working for them!?”
“Having issues with my Samsung Washer on initial call Chelsea was quick to respond sent Dustin out who was super polite and Professional We thought issue was resolved I phone Chelsea left 2 voice message and 2 text message as of today no tesponse I did manage to reach Dustin who will be out this sfternoon”
“Samsung 18 cf Top freezer refrigerator/ freezer, 3 years old (2 years out of warranty). Freezer section is cold, but not really freezing cold at maximum output. Certified tech disassembled parts of the refrigerator, test probed and reassembled. After 45 minutes, Certified tech declared that the compressor needs to be replaced. Cost: $985 plus tax. A new Samsung refrigerator -- same exact model -- costs $900 today at Best Buy. The tech knew all this up front and said as much during the visit. So, I was handed a repair estimate and a bill for $89 covering the tech's visit. Certified's repair cost is ridiculous, outrageous price gouging (I checked Samsung compressor replacement part cost online, labor costs, etc.). I am convinced Certified is running a scam the goal of which is not to repair appliances, but to collect a profitable $89 per visit, regardless of whether or not someone is dumb enough to accept and proceed with Certified's insanely overpriced work, and that's assuming the tech is even competent enough to perform it. You be the judge.”
“I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Chelsea advised that a technician would be coming between 8-10am. I called 3 times I could only leave a message. No one answered the phone or returned any of my messages. No show no call. I cannot recommend such unprofessionalism. Disappointed since a friend recommended them.”
